TRAVEL-DISRUPTING SNOW POSSIBLE WEDNESDAY

A coastal storm will ride to our east, throwing moisture into building cold air overhead Wednesday. This means rain and snow mix developing for the entire area Tuesday night and for a very busy travel day on Wednesday. By the time it tapers late Wednesday, we could see up to three inches of snow here in the city, and maybe even up to four inches or so in places like Carroll County.

Pawz at Pazo

Updated: Monday, September 9 2013, 03:13 PM EDT

On Sunday evening, from 7:00-9:00pm, 200 animal lovers converged on Pazo in Harbor East to celebrate the release of the brand new Orioles Pet Calendar, featuring players with their pets, as well as players posing with adoptable animals from BARCS. Members of the baseball team, including catcher Matt Wieters, left fielder Nate McLouth and team manager Buck Showalter mingled with the crowd, shaking hands, signing autographs and posing for pictures. Guests attending enjoyed passed hors d'oeuvres and cocktails, perused a silent auction stocked with O's memorabilia, and all received a copy of the new 2015 calendar. Spotted among the crowd: Captain Larry's owner Ivars Balodis, Eddie's Markets owner Nancy Cohen, Outlaw Advertising owner Sande Riesett, BARCS director Jennifer Brause, and BARCS board members Allison Abromitis, Brent Whitaker, Maria Wieters and Cheryl Ross.
