Food Lion Apple Cranberry Pie Recipe

Pies are a hallmark ending to the Thanksgiving holiday. If you think they are too time-consuming and difficult to prepare, think again. Try out this simple recipe for a pie that's sure to please all crowds!
Apple Cranberry Pie
Serves: 8 slices
1 ea. Food Lion frozen deep dish pie crusts (with tin)
2 cans Food Lion apple pie filling
1 2-3 oz pkg. Food Lion dried cranberries
1 tsp. Food Lion ground cinnamon
Pinch Food Lion ground nutmeg
1/4 ea. Fresh from the Field lemon
1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
2. In a bowl, mix the pie filling, cranberries, spices, and squeeze the lemon juice in. Mix thoroughly
3. Pour the pie filling in the pie crust. Top with the second pie crust (without the tin), crumb topping (recipe follows), or bake open-faced.
4. Bake for 15 minutes, or until crust is golden brown. Remove from oven and allow to rest until cool.
2 oz. My Essentials butter
2 oz. My Essentials sugar
1/4 tsp. Food Lion ground cinnamon
1/4 -lb. My Essentials flour
1. Mix all ingredients together.
