Cell phone users all pay it: Where is your 911 tax going?
BALTIMORE (WBFF) -- Over the past four months nearly half a million calls came in to Baltimore City 911.
Sixty percent of those calls were made from cell phones.
If you have a cell phone, then each month you’re paying a tax to have 911 service, even though dispatchers can't pinpoint your location.
