Doctors See Smartphones Contributing to Insomnia

Experts say 40% of Americans are suffering from insomnia. Now, smartphones are contributing to keeping the population up at night.
The message from doctors at Northwest Hospital Sleep Center is clear: Do not have your computer and your iPad in bed. Just the light alone will work through your eyes to stimulate your brain.
And doctors say that lack of sleep can lead to serious health nightmares, even early death.
Among the health problems that can be caused by sleep deprivation: memory loss , mood problems, and depression.
