In a packed room inside the Fox45 studios, a heated discussion on a controversial topic- race relations in America.
The panel included two pastors and two politicians: Del. Emmett Burns, Charles Lollar, Del. Aisha Braveboy and C.D. Witherspoon.
The town hall began with the question of whether we will ever live in a colorblind society.
"I want to respond to whether or not we will have a colorblind society," Del. Burns said. "Absolutely not and I say absolutely no because race is so endemic so a part of the mainstream of this nation until we will never have a colorblind society."
The discussion moved to issues of class.
"Where you have higher levels of poverty you have higher levels of crime because people are economically depressed they don't believe they have a future," said Del. Braveboy.
And finally, what needs to be done to improve race relations in America.
"Until we encourage our students to make the right decisions, not the sociably acceptable decision, but the right decision to take control of your bodies till you are ready; to get married to make the responsible decision to finish school," Lollar said.
FOX45 approached many people of all races to be on the panel, but many declined.
