From Print to Publish

It's on so many bucket lists - to write a book. But finding a way to get it published can be overwhelming.
Every story begins with just an idea and for Fox45's Joel D. Smith; the vision came to him in a live truck between live shots. While he's paid to write reality at work, he finds fiction fun.
From concept to book cover, his children's book "Santa's Secret Deal" took two years to craft.
Daryl Smith found when his major league baseball career ended; his quest to publish books began. Smith has published six books, five of which were children's books.
Fox45 Investigative Producer Stephen Janis co-authored a book "Why Do We Kill." His book launched other ventures like speaking engagements that help him to spread his message about violence in urban communities.
From print to publish, all of the authors agree that publishing the book is a lot easier than marketing it.
