City Homicide Rate Reaches 202

Baltimore City police are investigating two shootings in separate parts of the city that left a man and teenager dead. 34-year-old Tremaine Johnson was shot and killed on Calhoun St in West Baltimore.

Police say he was walking on Franklin St when he was approached by a suspect and shot in the head.

Homicide detectives are also investigating a murder in East Baltimore. Police say a 16-year-old boy was found shot multiple times in the head in an alley near Barclay and 22nd Streets. Police have not identified the teenager.
