A public interest group has filed a lawsuit to get more information about a drunk-driving suspect who is accused of hitting and killing a Virginia nun.
The group Judicial Watch wants the Department of Homeland Security to release documents related to an internal investigation of Carlos Martinelly Montano.
Montano has been charged in the death of Sister Denise Mosier in Prince William County in August. Two other nuns were also injured in the crash.
Reports show Martinelly Montano was scheduled for deportation, but his deportation hearing was delayed three times and never took place.
