Mother Fears Missing Daughter Was Abducted - Joy Lepola

Baltimore police say they are concerned for the safety of a missing 16-year-old girl who was visiting from North Carolina.

Phylicia Barnes vanished Tuesday from her sister's apartment in Northwest Baltimore.

Her frantic mother arrived in Baltimore late Thursday night. Janice Sallis says her daughter is an honor roll student who wouldn't run away.

She says Phylicia is unfamiliar with Baltimore and knows few people.

Police brought search dogs to the apartment complex on Thursday. Family member say the dogs lost  the teen's scent in the parking lot.
