Scam Artist Finds Victims in Obituaries - Keith Daniels

Howard County police are searching for a scam artist who finds his victims through obituaries.

Police
say they have issued a warrant for the arrest of Miller Frank, 45. He
faces charges of operating a theft scheme, conducting home improvements
without a license and theft.

An investigating revealed Frank read through obituaries and targeted elderly people who recently lost a loved one.

Police say Frank makes Shafty repairs, demands more money than the original cost of the repairs and steals from his victims.

Frank
is a Caucasian man who stands at about 5-feet, 6-inches tall and has a
stocky build.  He has olive toned skin, brown eyes, a bald head with
dark hair on the sides and may possibly have a New York accent.  He is
believed to be driving a red Dodge truck.

Anyone who may have been a victim of a scam should call police at 410-313-2200.
