Child Abduction Leaves Neighbors Concerned

Updated: Tuesday, November 27 2012, 11:56 AM EST
Baltimore Police are investigating the abduction of a 12 year old boy.  Police say the young boy is fine, and that he was found well about 30 minutes after what must have been a terrifying ordeal.  The young boy was taken on the walk to his friend’s house.

Even on a holiday weekend, news spread fast among neighbors about the 12 year old boy police say was abducted on Friday night around 10:00 pm. On Sunday investigators released sketches of two suspects involved in the alleged crime.

The child told police he was headed home, and as he walked along the 1100 block of East Pratt Street, a dark blue Toyota Corolla pulled up beside him and forced him into the car, and drove off.

Neighbors are startled by the news, and even more surprised no one saw it happen.  Police won’t say what lead them here, but about 30 minutes later investigators responded to Pulaski Highway in search of the victim.  They spotted him walking down the exit ramp of I-695.  Child Abduction Leaves Neighbors Concerned
