Cost of Health Care Reform For Employers

The questions just keep coming on the Health Care Reform. Frank Fraboni, from our sister station in Asheville, North Carolina, reports business owners seem to be asking a lot of them.
It was standing room only to hear David C. Smith, from the Benefits and Insurance Law Center. The Morrow Insurance Agency in Hendersonville hosted the seminar to help businesses know what to expect.
The response was off the charts. Smith doesn't believe the health care law will force insurance companies out of business/
Morrow Insurance is banking on that, hoping to provide professional advice. Businesses continue to look for answers to what's next.
Taking notes and hoping the health care change, doesn't hurt the bottom line.
Right now, experts believe most employers will opt to continue coverage for workers, rather than pay a non-deductible tax penalty.
