Baltimore Police are searching for Darryl Anderson, 25, who they called "Public Enemy Number One" in a press conference on Thursday. Police say Anderson is a member of the BGF gang.

On June 27, 2013 officers responded to the 3300 block of Elmora Ave for a reported shooting. When officers arrived at the scene thre women had been shot. They were transported to the hospital for treatment and 21-year-old Gennie Shird later died from her injuries. Police say Anderson was responsible. Homicide detectives obtained an arrest warrant for Anderson.

"Every single cop in Baltimore City is looking for him," Chief of Patrol Darry DeSousa said on Thursday. "He thinks he can hide, but we're going to find him…we're going to find him no matter what it takes."

According to DeSousa, police have been looking for Anderson for over a year. They are now seeking help from the public.

Police say Anderson has been charged with 1st degree murder, attempted murder and various assault and weapons charges.

Darryl Anderson should be considered armed and dangerous, officials said in a release.

Police are asking anyone with information to call 911 immediately.
