Serving Alongside Bowe Bergdahl

Updated: Wednesday, June 4 2014, 11:07 PM EDT
Controversy is growing around Bowe Bergdahl, the sergeant released by the Taliban in exchange for five prisoners from Guantanamo Bay.

Former PFC Kenneth Wortham served with Bergdahl and is now speaking out about his experience with the former soldier.

"I understand that no man, no soldier should be left behind, but it's a different story because we didn't leave him behind, he left us," Wortham said. "And he's home now and he's being considered a hero.  We can't let that slide.  The world needs to know what really happened and the government needs to step up and not try to cover up."

Wortham said six soldiers were killed trying to find Bergdahl. He also said soldiers in his platoon were also ordered to sign non-disclosure documents to never speak about what happened. Serving Alongside Bowe Bergdahl
