3 Killed in 4 Shootings Monday Night, Tuesday Morning

Five were shot and three were killed in four separate shootings Monday night and early Tuesday morning.
On Monday night just before 9:30 p.m. police responded to the 1800 block of Druid Hill Ave, where they found an adult male shot multiple times. He was transported to a hospital where he was pronounced dead at 10:21 p.m. The victim has been identified as 29-year-old Richard Muir.
Less than an hour later police responded to 776 Linnard Street where they found an adult male victim with a gunshot wound to his head in front of the residence. He was transported to a hospital where he was pronounced dead at 11:37 p.m. He has been identified as 26-year-old Temmel Washington. Police say an adult female victim attempted to enter the home during the incident, but was shot in the stomach. She was treated and released at a local hospital.
Just after 1 a.m. Tuesday morning police responded to 4747 Park Heights Avenue where they found an adult male victim with gunshot wounds to the head. He was transported to a hospital and pronounced dead at 1:42am. Police say an unknown suspect approached the victim as he sat on his front porch, displayed a handgun and shot him multiple times. Homicide Detectives are investigating the incident.
Around 2:25 a.m. a male victim walked into an area hospital suffering from a gunshot wound. He told police he was in the 3000 block of Oakford Avenue when he was shot. He remains hospitalized with non-life threatening injuries. Northern District Detectives have assumed control of this investigation.
