Baltimore County Reminds Residents: Plowing/Shoveling Into the Street is Illegal
Updated: Thursday, February 13 2014, 06:02 PM EST
Baltimore County is reminding residents that plowing or shoveling snow into the street is illegal. It can create a safety hazard and can result in the same snow being pushed back in front of the driveway.
"If you shovel your driveway before the plow comes through, always shovel to the right (facing the street)," Baltimore County said.
Motorists are also reminded to stay at least two car lengths behind snowplows. Never cut between a caravan of plows clearing the highway and do not tailgate snowplows.
