A grizzly bear undergoes surgery...A man dyes all of his hair pink...And a massive smoke stack comes crashing down.
Marley was one of 16 bears rescued from a roadside attraction in Georgia last month. Caregivers noticed the 7-year-old wasn't putting weight on her front legs, so she was sent off to veterinarians at Colorado State University where they found that her elbows were broken, and badly infected. After this successful surgery, experts believe Marley could live another 20-years.
Pink hair, pink beard... And even pink eyebrows! One man who lost a super bowl bet turned it into a way to give back. He dyed all of his hair pink and posted the picture to Facebook. "If I get 500 likes, I will donate $500 to the Barbara Bush Children's hospital." He wrote. For 1,000 likes he pledged to donate $1,000. The hospital in Portland, Maine is getting a healthy donation - the picture got well over a thousand likes.
Caught on video, in Australia, a 650-foot smoke stack came down in seconds. It was a controlled, planned demolition that took nearly 1,000 explosives. People living within about 320 yards were told to evacuate. Though some locals tried to stop the demo because of concerns about asbestos, officials reassured them they were safe.
