Much of Maryland was under a Hazardous Weather Outlook Friday after significant snowfall swept the region for nearly a 24-hour period, ending Thursday evening.
According to the National Weather Service, passing low pressure will result in light snow accumulations late Friday night and Saturday morning. The outlook is in effect for central and Western Maryland with the exception of Garret County.
The Baltimore City Department of Public Works reminded citizens to clear snow around fire hydrants and remove snow from storm inlets to prevent flooding.
