Glen Burnie Dirt Bike Accident Injures Three

Three people are injured following a motor vehicle accident involving a dirt bike Saturday night. It happened around 11:15 p.m. at the intersection of Crain Highway North and Jackson Ave. Northwest in the Glen Burnie area, according to Anne Arundel County Police.
The police investigation determined the Yamaha YZ dirt bike was traveling south on Crain Highway approaching Jackson Ave. NW, while at the same time, a Lexus sedan was traveling north on Crain Highway and making a left turn onto Jackson Ave NW.
Police reports indicate the dirt bike was operating illegally on the roadway and without any lights.
The driver of the Lexus, Vincent Cornelius Gordon III reportedly did not see the dirt bike as he made the turn.
Calvin Ronshaye Savoy, 19, the dirt bike driver and Charles William Sheffield,19, the passenger were fully ejected from the bike. Savoy sustained life threatening injuries and was transported to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma. He is currently listed in critical condition.
Sheffield was also injured but sustained non-life threatening injuries. He is currently in stable condition.
Twenty-three year old Gordon III sustained minor injuries and was treated at the scene by paramedics.
