Parts of downtown Frederick, Maryland were without power Thursday afternoon due to a small fire and explosion in an underground power vault.
The City of Frederick said Potomac Edison was on scene to make repairs in the area of East 4th St and North Market Street just before 1 p.m.
Police reminded residents to treat all intersections where the lights are out as a 4 way stop.
