Pasadena Homeowner Awoken by Burglary Monday Night

Police are investigating a home burglary in Pasadena.

Officers responded to the Poplar Ridge Road residence on Monday evening around 11:42 p.m. The adult male victim told police that he, his wife and their grandson were asleep when they heard noises from within the home. The male left his bedroom to investigate and yelled out that he was armed with a shotgun. The suspects then fired a shot into a wall and ran out of the residence.

The victims were only able to provide the following description of the suspects:

Suspect #1: Male wearing a white t-shirt and jeans
Suspect #2: Male wearing all dark clothing
Suspect #3: No description provided

Police said the suspects were able to steal a laptop computer and some other undetermined items. Numerous officers, a police K-9 and a police helicopter responded to the scene but could not locate the suspects.

The investigation is ongoing.
