Police: Suspect in Lansdowne Assault Turns Self In

Police say the subject of the August 27 tactical team search of a Lansdowne home has been located. A female resident, whose welfare officials were concerned about, has also been located.
Rony Leonel Deleon, 28, turned himself in at the Baltimore County Public Safety Building on August 31, accompanied by Damaris Noemi Chavez-Calderon.
Police responded to the 3000 block of Bero Road at 7:30 a.m. on August 27 where they encountered the adult male assault victim. The suspect was believed to be in the home where the assault occurred but was not located after the home was searched by a tactical team.
The investigation indicated that the Rony Leonel Deleon-Bartolon stabbed the victim during an altercation in the Bero Road home.
Rony Leonel Deleon is charged with first degree assault and related charges. He is being held at the Baltimore County Detention Center on $50,000 bail.
