Ray Rice Sponsors Monitoring, Evaluating Information

After being arrested over the weekend at an Atlantic City casino for a physical altercation with his fiancé, sponsors of the Ravens running back are now speaking out.
From Vertimax to Carbiz to M&T Bank and Fantazzle, Rice has no shortage of sponsors. The question is, who will stick around?
"It's really difficult and it's challenging when a company spends a lot of money on the endorser, on a celebrity when that person slips up usually that morality, good behavior clause kicks in and they can get out of it," John Maroon of Maroon PR said. "We saw a lot of that with Tiger Woods."
FOX45 received several statements Friday.
M&T Bank says; "We don't have enough information to comment right now, but we are evaluating information as it comes in to us."
Vertimax's president has decided to keep Rice on board---at least for now. Saying in part; "We will continue to monitor and evaluate this situation. At this time, Ray Rice is still part of the Vertimax family."
Carbiz is proving to be the most passionate. Its statement says in part; "We understand there are some individuals out there trying to sensationalize and capitalize from what is at best, an inconclusive video. We know Ray to have a high moral character and stand by him."
Rice has yet to address the public. The police report says that in an attempt to cause bodily injury to J. Palmer, he struck her with his hand, "rendering her unconscious."
