Wife of MD Congressman Andy Harris Has Died

FOX45 has confirmed that Sylvia "Cookie" Harris, wife of MD Congressman Andy Harris, has died. She went into cardiac arrest at their home Thursday.
Republican Andy Harris represents the 1st district of Maryland. His office has released the following statement;
"Sylvia "Cookie" Harris, beloved wife of over 30 years to Congressman Andy Harris, devoted mother of five and grandmother to two, and devout Catholic, unexpectedly passed away on Thursday, August 28. The family is thankful for the thoughts and prayers that so many have offered already and appreciates privacy during this time.
The Archdiocese of Baltimore also released a statement saying, "Archbishop William E. Lori, on behalf of the clergy and lay faithful of the Archdiocese of Baltimore, extends his prayers to Congressman Andy Harris and the entire Harris family for the repose of the soul of Sylvia "Cookie" Harris.
Mrs. Harris was a longtime volunteer supporter of Catholic, pro-life causes, serving on the Archdiocesan Respect Life Committee and on the Board of Directors of Pregnancy Center North, a crisis pregnancy center for women who wish to carry their babies to term. Mrs. Harris also served as a peer counselor to Spanish-speaking women at the Center and spoke to 8th grade Catholic school students about the sanctity of human life.
'Mrs. Harris was a tireless supporter of life and fully dedicated herself to the belief that all human life is sacred,' Archbishop Lori said. 'Though her death is a tremendous loss, especially to those in the pro-life community, her legacy will continue to live on in the countless lives she not only touched, but possibly saved, through her efforts to build a culture of life in the Archdiocese of Baltimore.'"
Mrs. Harris was involved with the Maryland National Right to Life; they issued the following statement on Facebook:
"It is with heavy hearts we must say our dear friend and coworker Cookie Harris has passed away today. She served as the Director of Special Events, working intimately to put together a successful annual banquet, biannual convention, and MDRTL's participation in the Maryland State Fair, which continues through Labor Day. She will be missed. "
Mrs. Harris was parent and former faculty member at The St. Joseph School in Cockeysville:
"The community of St. Joseph School is deeply saddened to learn about the passing of one of our own. Cookie Harris not only shared her talents with our school as a mother of five students but also was a treasured member of our faculty," says Mrs. Janine Paetow, assistant principal of St. Joseph School. "Our thoughts and prayers are with Congressman Harris, Danny, Jessica, Irene, Rebecca, and Joseph as well as the extended Harris family."
The Chairwoman of the Maryland Republican Party, Diana Waterman, released the following statement Thursday evening:
"It is with deep sadness and regret that The Maryland Republican Party has been informed of the passing of Mrs. Sylvia "Cookie" Harris, wife of Congressman Andy Harris (Md-01). Mrs. Harris, a mother of five and grandmother of 2, was a devout catholic and strong advocate of the Maryland Right to Life organization. We are shocked and saddened by the news, Cookie was a truly wonderful person and the MDGOP's thoughts, prayers and support go out to her family."
Governor O'Malley issued a statement Thursday evening:
"We extend our deepest condolences to Congressman Andy Harris on the tragic loss of his wife, Sylvia 'Cookie' Harris. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Harris family."
