Baltimore City School is facing mounting criticism over the way they spent thousands of dollars in federal stimulus money.
An audit found that more than $24,000 went to pay for things like dinner cruises and food for PTA meetings which ended up amounting to $99/plate.
US Congressman Andy Harris is convinced the audit revealing the misusing of funds by Baltimore City schools is just the tip of the iceberg.
When city school CEO Doctor Andres Alonso appeared on Fox45 Morning News, he took issue with our report that uncovered a federal audit that revealed how thousands of dollars in federal stimulus and title one funds had been misused by Baltimore City.
"We're talking about $25,000, where is your accountability to tell the truth," asked Alonso.
Congressman Harris has now called for an expanded audit on the additional dollars Baltimore City received.
