TRAVEL-DISRUPTING SNOW POSSIBLE WEDNESDAY

A coastal storm will ride to our east, throwing moisture into building cold air overhead Wednesday. This means rain and snow mix developing for the entire area Tuesday night and for a very busy travel day on Wednesday. By the time it tapers late Wednesday, we could see up to three inches of snow here in the city, and maybe even up to four inches or so in places like Carroll County.

New Details on Baltimore City School's Audit

Updated: Friday, August 2 2013, 09:22 PM EDT
After details emerged of the misuse of funds by City schools, one congressman in D.C. is calling for an expanded audit.

US Congressman Andy Harris is convinced the audit revealing the misusing of funds by Baltimore City schools is just the tip of the iceberg.

When city school CEO Doctor Andres Alonso appeared on Fox45 Morning News, he took issue with our report that uncovered a federal audit that revealed how thousands of dollars in federal stimulus and title one funds had been misused by Baltimore City.

"We're talking about $25,000, where is your accountability to tell the truth," asked Alonso.

But Congressman Harris has now called for an expanded audit on the additional dollars Baltimore City received.

"This audit covered just a one year period of stimulus money. I think they should look at a later period to see if anymore stimulus dollars were spent and how they were spent," Harris said.

The audit was only limited to two school districts, Baltimore City and Prince George's County. Harris says he would like to see a statewide study on the spending of stimulus dollars. New Details on Baltimore City School's Audit
