The Agency That Keeps Tabs on Gov't Spending Went Over the Top

The agency that keeps tabs on government spending, but brought you a 800,000 dollar conference in Las Vegas for 300 workers spent more than a quarter million dollars on another conference.
According to the GSA inspector general, this conference cost 268 thousand dollars. In November 2010, 50 thousand dollars was spent on gifts and awards including 20-grand for drumsticks. The GSA says all spending for the events was suspended in April.
