Actress Under Fire For Supporting Presidential Candidate

Updated: Friday, August 2 2013, 09:24 PM EDT
A former "Clueless" actress is under fire and facing racially charged attacks for supporting Mitt Romney.

Stacey Dash made a name for herself in the popular hit film "Clueless," but now she is under attack after tweeting a photo of herself in a red bathing suit saying "Vote for Romney. The Only Choice for Your Future."

The actress made an appearance on Piers Morgan where he read some troubling tweets from critics who could not believe a black woman would support a GOP nominee, including one from actor Samuel L. Jackson.

Dash says she voted for President Obama in 2008 because she thought he was the best candidate at the time, but now she is standing by her endorsement for Romney.

Meanwhile, many are coming to Dash's response. She received a phone call from Romney's running mate Paul Ryan who thanked her for the support. Actress Under Fire For Supporting Presidential Candidate
