One Love Foundation Launches App to Combat Relationship Violence

Updated: Monday, November 19 2012, 09:25 AM EST
In honor of Yeardley Reynolds Love, the One Love Foundation has launched
the beginning phase of their "Be 1 for Change" initiative that will
serve as the base of a long-term campaign to combat relationship
violence.

The launch will include a free and anonymous Danger Assessment
application available for smart phones and a Public Service Announcement
created by Renegade Communications.  The PSA depicts an unhealthy
relationship between a college-aged couple and how the One Love app can
be used by friends of the victim to help. The app for iPhone and Andriod
and the PSA is currently available on the One Love Foundation website.

"Without the support of the Michael and Kim Ward Foundation, and the
expertise and research from our partners at Hopkins, these new
initiatives would not have been possible," said Sharon Love, mother of
Yeardley and co-founder of the One Love Foundation.  "The development of
the app and the PSA is a big first step in our long-term plan to change
the perception of Relationship Violence and combat this intolerable
behavior."

The One Love Foundation was created in May 2012 by the Love family to
encourage and develop in children, and young adults four qualities that
Yeardley exemplified; service, kindness, humility and sportsmanship.  One Love Foundation Launches App to Combat Relationship Violence
