BALTIMORE (WBFF) -- Baltimore’s Board of Estimates on Wednesday approved nearly $127,000 in back pay for Lt. Brian Rice, who was acquitted of all charges in connection with Freddie Gray’s death.

Officer Caesar Goodson has already had his back pay approved.

Rice, the highest ranking of the six police officers charged, was facing charges of manslaughter and reckless endangerment, as well as one misconduct charge. A second misconduct charge and an assault charge were dropped during proceedings. All charges were dropped against the remaining officers during pre-trial motions for Officer Garrett Miller on July 27.

The officers will be on administrative duties while an administrative review is conducted by the Montgomery County Police Department with the assistance of the Howard County Police Department.
