18-year-old dies after being shot on Norfolk Avenue
BALTIMORE, Md. (WBFF) -- On Sunday afternoon, a teen was shot and killed in Northwest Baltimore, according to Baltimore Police Department. The recent homicide is currently under investigation.
At approximately 2:15 p.m., Northwest District patrol officers received several calls of discharging on the 3800 block of Norfolk Avenue.
As officers were responding to the location, they were flagged down by a citizens vehicle, alerting officers that they were transporting a shooting victim to the hospital.
Officers followed close behind that vehicle until they reached the hospital.
Once at the hospital, the victim, an 18-year-old male with a gunshot wound to the chest, was immediately taken into surgery where he later died.
