Double shooting and homicide under investigation in NE Baltimore

Three victims were found at two shooting scenes in northeast Baltimore late Tuesday night.

BALTIMORE (WBFF) - Three victims were found at two shooting scenes in northeast Baltimore late Tuesday night.

The first shooting was reported around 9:45 p.m. in the area of Gorsuch Avenue and Polk Street. According to police, a 26-year-old man and a 19-year-old man were found with gunshot wounds to the legs and hip. They were transported to hospitals in good condition, investigators said. At this time police believe both men were walking down Polk towards Gorsuch when shots rang out from up the block.

Less than an hour later officers were called to Marble Hall Street near Crofton Road, where a 19-year-old man was found shot in the chest.

He succumbed to his injuries at an area hospital later that evening. Police noted that a handgun, found near the victim’s body, likely belonged to him.

He was identified as Deandre Coleman.

The shooting is now under investigation by homicide detectives.
