24-year-old man killed on day two of Ceasefire in Baltimore
BALTIMORE, Md. (WBFF) -- On Saturday, a 24-year old man was shot and killed on Sargeant Street in South Baltimore, according to City of Baltimore Police.
At about 5:03 p.m., police officers patrolling the area near the 1300 block of Sargeant Street heard gunfire.
Officers immediately began canvassing the area for possible victims and witnesses.
Soon after, officers located a crime scene at the intersection of South Carey Street and Sargeant Street.
The victim was rushed to an area hospital by a friends.
The male shooting victim was pronounced dead by University of Maryland Shock Trauma medical personnel shortly after arrival.
Homicide detectives were called to the location and assumed control of the investigation.
