4 people shot on Friday night in Baltimore, including a 9-year-old girl

BALTIMORE, Md. (WBFF) -- On Friday, 4 people were shot and injured in South and Central Baltimore, including a 9-year-old girl.

According to Baltimore Police Department, at about 4:55 p.m., police were called to an area hospital to investigate a walk-in shooting victim seeking treatment.

Once officers arrived on scene, they discovered a 24-year-old male suffering from a gunshot wound to the forearm.

Police were able to locate a crime scene in the 600 block of Poplar Grove Street in Southwest Baltimore.

At about 6:04 p.m., police were called to the 3900 block of Rokeby Road for a reported shooting.

Once officers arrived on scene in Southwest Baltimore, they discovered a 24-year-old male suffering from a gunshot wound to the shoulder.

Medics transported the victim to an area hospital for treatment.

At about 7:57 p.m., police were called to the 1000 block of Slater Road in South Baltimore for a reported shooting.

Once officers arrived on scene, they discovered a 9-year-old female suffering from a gunshot wound to the foot.

Medics transported the victim to an area hospital for treatment.

At about 8:32 p.m., police were called to the 1100 block of Myrtle Avenue for a reported shooting.

Once officers arrived on scene, they discovered an adult male suffering from gunshot wounds.

Medics transported the victim to an area hospital where he later died.

Homicide detectives were called to the crime scene and assumed control of the investigation.
