2 dead, 7 hospitalized after shootings throughout Baltimore City on Friday the 13th

BALTIMORE, Md (WBFF) Nine people were shot, 2 were killed, including an 18-year-old woman in Baltimore City on Friday.

The first shooting occurred Friday morning around 10 a.m. near W. Saratoga and N. Stricker Streets.

The shooting prompted the lockdown of two area schools.

The victim was shot in the chest and leg. His condition is not known.

According to police, the second shooting occurred just before 8 p.m. in SW Baltimore.

Officials responded to the area of Phelps Lane and North Hilton Street where they located a 28-year-old man with gunshot wounds to his head and leg.

The victim is listed in critical condition.

While investigating, detectives learned of a walk-in shooting victim with a gunshot wound to his neck.

Police believe both victims were shot on Phelps Lane.

The fourth shooting victim approached a patrol officer around 9 p.m. on the corner of W. North and Pennsylvania Ave.

The 28-year-old man stated he was shot in his leg and arm near N. Carey St.

Around 10:30 NW District officers were called to an area hospital for a walk-in shooting victim.

On scene, they located a 19-year-old suffering from a gunshot wound to the chest. He is listed in critical condition.

Detectives were able to determine that he was shot while walking in the area of W. Belvedere and Wilton Heights Ave.

According to police, the victim was able to flag down a good samaritan who drove him to the hospital.

The next shooting occurred in the SE district near North East Ave and Jefferson Street.

Crews responded around 10:30 where they found a 25-year-old man with multiple gunshot wounds to his chest.

Medical crews pronounced him dead shortly after arriving to the hospital.

Police say, about a half hour later, crews received a call in regard to a walk-in shooting victim at an area hospital.

Police located a 52-year-old man with multiple gunshot wounds. He is listed in serious condition.

Detectives believe, both victims were shot on North East Ave.

Around 11 p.m. SW District officers responded to the 3000 block of Raynor Ave for a shooting report.

On scene, officials located an 18-year-old female with a gunshot wound to the head. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police say, they located a second victim in the 700 block of Poplar Grove with a gunshot wound to the foot.
