7 people shot in multiple shootings on Thursday night

BALTIMORE, Md. (WBFF) -- On Thursday night, a total of 7 people were shot in multiple shootings that occurred around Central and Northeast Baltimore, according to the Baltimore Police Department.

In Northeast Baltimore, at about 9:13 p.m., police were dispatched to the 3400 block Chesterfield Avenue to investigate a reported shooting.

Once officers arrived on the scene, they discovered one adult male and a 16-year-old male suffering from a gunshot wounds.

Medics were summoned and transported the victim to an area hospital for treatment.

As a result of one of the victim's injuries, homicide detectives were called to the crime scene and assumed control of the investigation.

At 9:27 p.m., three victims arrived at an area hospital in need of treatment for gunshot wounds.

Detectives are currently working to identify where the victims were shot.

In Central Baltimore, at about 9:06 p.m., police were dispatched to the area of Pennsylvania Avenue and Pitcher Street to investigate a reported shooting.

Once officers arrived on scene, they discovered two adult males suffering from gunshot wounds.

Medics were summoned and transported the victim to an area hospital for treatment.

As a result of one of the victim's injuries, Homicide detectives were called to the crime scene and assumed control of the investigation.
