9K rounds of ammo seized after car chase in Aberdeen
ABERDEEN, Md. (WBFF) - Two Aberdeen men were arrested after a vehicle pursuit Wednesday evening that led to 9,000 rounds of ammunition and several firearms being seized.
Aberdeen police said they stopped a 2004 Mercedes-Benz driven by Brandon Tyre Jones on Center Deen Avenue at about 7:20 p.m.
Police said Jones, 37, of New County Road, fled the scene shortly after being pulled over for a window tint violation.
He was stopped and arrested in the area of Route 40 and Revolution Street in Havre de Grace.
At the time of the arrest, Jones was out on bail after being charged with numerous gun-related offenses by Aberdeen Police on Jan. 14. He is now being held without bond.
Officers got a search warrant for a home on New County Road that was served at 2:30 a.m. Thursday.

A second man, Andre Evans-El, 36, of the same address, was arrested as a result of the warrant.
Evans-El was charged with illegal possession of ammunition, illegal possession of a regulated firearm and possessing firearms with a felony conviction.
