Aberdeen man charged with murder after woman's body found in Harford Co. park
DARLINGTON, Md. (WBFF) - An Aberdeen man is charged with murdering a woman he was in a relationship with, whose body was found in Harford County's Susquehanna State Park on Thursday.
Brandon Allen Wovas, 25, of Aberdeen, has been arrested in connection with the death of Lauren Michelle Walls, 34, of Street, Harford County, reported the Harford County Sheriff's Office on Friday.
Walls' body was found in a parking lot in Susquehanna State Park at about 7:42 a.m. on Dec. 21.
The cause of death was not given, pending an autopsy.
Walls was determined to be in a relationship with Wovas.
Police said "at some point between the evening of December 20 and the morning of December 21, Wovas killed Walls while in the 700 block of Stafford Road. Wovas left Walls' body in the parking lot and left the scene."
Wovas is charged with first-degree and second-degree murder, first-degree and second-degree assault and related charges.
He is being held without bond at the Harford County Detention Center.
