Armed suspect carjacks woman at Elkridge gas station, makes her drive to Baltimore City

ELKRIDGE, Md. (WBFF) -- Howard County Police are seeking to locate a suspect connected to a carjacking of a woman in Elkridge on Wednesday.

Officials say a woman reported being at a Shell gas station on Washington Boulevard near Waterloo Road around 4:00 a.m. when a suspect then entered her vehicle.

The armed male suspect demanded the victim drive to Baltimore City, which she followed. Once arriving in Baltimore, the suspect ordered the woman to get out the 1996 green Toyota Corolla.

He then drove away from the scene. No injures were reported.

According to investigators, the suspect is described as a black man with scruffy facial hair and shoulder-length dreadlocks. He was also wearing a white t-shirt and blue jeans.

The Corolla vehicle tags are: 1CP2415.
