BALT. CO. CRIME: Gun pointed at Owings Mills vehicle, armed robbery in Timonium

BALTIMORE COUNTY, Md. (WBFF) - Recent violent crimes include someone who pointed a gun from a vehicle near Reisterstown Road and a daytime armed robbery at a York Road business.

At about 6 p.m. on Sept. 22, a gun was pointed at another person on Gwynnswood Road, just off of Reisterstown Road near Pleasant Hill Road in Owings Mills.

At about 1:30 p.m. on Sept. 23, the manager of Salvo Auto Parts in Timonium was approached in the parking lot by a suspect with a knife.

The business is located on York Road, just north of Ridgely Road.

The suspect took cash deposits and jewelry, according to police reports.

At 8 p.m. on Sept. 24, an assault and pistol-whipping was reported in Parkville.

Two unknown suspects assaulted a victim when he was about to enter his home on Willow Creek Court, in the Spring Hill Apartments & Townhomes area north Joppa Road.

The suspects struck the victim in the head with a handgun and stole his money and jewelry.

On Sept. 26 in Halethorpe, a burglary turned violent.

At 4:45 p.m., the victim parked in front of his home on Washington Boulevard at South Caton Avenue/Hammonds Ferry Road.

He saw a broken window. Then, two unknown suspects approached him and threw him to the ground, according to police reports.

The suspects "ripped his pants" and took his wallet. They were arrested soon after.
