BALTIMORE COUNTY, Md. (WBFF) - Recent violent crimes in Baltimore County include a suspect who crashed a truck into a Mt. Washington-area Royal Farms before stealing items from the store and an armed robbery around rush hour in a Parkville neighborhood.

At 6 p.m. Dec. 13, a victim was robbed at knifepoint by someone in the Parkville/east Towson area, on Yakona Road and Lackawanna Avenue near Loch Raven Boulevard, according to police reports.

The suspect stole her purse and fled, said police.

At 12:01 a.m. on Dec. 14, someone was strangled in Windsor Mill, after getting into a fight with someone.

The victim was strangled and had bruising on the neck, on Western Winds Drive near Church Lane, reported police.

The suspect was arrested in that incident.

At about 1 a.m. on Dec. 14, someone was assaulted in an attempted robbery on Farmview Avenue in the Overlea area, near Hazelwood Avenue.

The victim was near her vehicle when someone pulled up, got out of his vehicle and demanded her money.

He then fled, and no money was obtained.

At 2:40 a.m., someone crashed their truck into the Mt. Washington Royal Farms store on Falls Road.

They stole cigarettes before fleeing.

At 8:24 a.m. that day, someone was robbed at gunpoint in Essex, on Margaret Avenue near Cedar Avenue.

The victim was robbed of his shoes, belt and cash by three suspects.

At 5:40 p.m., someone was assaulted while she was getting mail in Parkville.

The robbery happened on Upridge Court, near Old Harford and Kings Ridge roads.

An unknown suspect assaulted the victim, stole her purse and fled.
