BALT. CO. POLICE CHIEF | "A bad time in the U.S. for law enforcement"
TOWSON, Md. (WBFF) - Baltimore County police chief Terrence Sheridan said the fallen officer in Perry Hall was wearing body camera, and the footage will be reviewed later as part of the investigation.
"This is a bad time in the U.S. for law enforcement," said Sheridan about the shocking incident.
Baltimore County Council President Julian Jones said in a statement he wanted to "extend my sincere heartfelt condolences" to the officer's family.
"This tragedy is a solemn reminder of the sacrifice" that law enforcement make daily, he said.
