Bel Air teen dies in car crash in Harford County
CHURCHVILLE, Md. (WBFF) - A 17-year-old Bel Air teenager was killed in an early-Monday car crash in Harford County, said Maryland State Police.
James Pope was driving a 2001 Toyota 4Runner on Level Road/Route 155 in the Churchville area when the vehicle left the road and struck a tree, at about 5:45 a.m., according to a news release.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. No one else was involved in the crash.
It was not immediately known why the vehicle left the roadway.
Level Road was closed for about 2 1/2 hours while troopers investigated.
