BALTIMORE (WBFF)-- Baltimore City Police say two suspects wanted in the murder of Alex Wroblewski are in custody in Atlanta, a third is on the run.

Wednesday morning, police named 37-year-old Tonya Arnita Hayes as the getaway driver in the murder. In a 2:30pm update, officers announced that she and her 23-year-old boyfriend, who is believed to be the gunman, were taken into custody.

A third suspect who is also thought to be involved in the robbery is Hayes's 20-year-old son. US Marshalls are continuing to search for him.

Alex Wroblewski was shot and killed early Tuesday, when he fought back during a robbery attempt at a South Baltimore Royal Farms.

Surveillance footage showed two people, police called persons of interest, as well as a vehicle they say was driven away from the scene.

Police say, Wroblewski was approached by two men when he left the store around 1:15am, after paying for milk and cookies with a large denomination.

Wroblewski was walking home when the robbery was announced on the back of the store.

He was shot in the stomach after resisting the robbery attempt. Wroblewski was taken to Shock Trauma where he died.

Police continued the search for suspects, getting tips identifying the woman who they say may be from Baltimore but had ties to Virginia and Atlanta. Police say the arrests were initiated after a car stop. The car involved in this murder was spotted, and pulled over by police. The people inside the car gave information about where the suspects may be.

Police were able to apprehend the 37-year-old and her boyfriend. Her son's whereabouts are not known. He is actively being pursued bylaw enforcement.
