FIRE OFFICIALS: Dog dies in Easton house fire

EASTON, Md. (WBFF) -- Fire officials report that a dog perished in a house fire in Easton, Md. on Sunday.

Approximately 64 firefighters from Easton Volunteer Fire Department responded to the 2-alarm fire at a two story house located at 204 East Earl Avenue.

Lilly's dog who was located inside the home perished in the fire.

No other injuries were reported.

The origin and preliminary cause of the fire is still under investigation.
