Five arrested in Elkridge after investigation into heroin, 'other drug activity'
ELLICOTT CITY, Md. (WBFF) - Five people were arrested over the weekend in Elkridge as part of an ongoing investigation into heroin and "other drug activity" conducted by Howard County Police, according to a press release sent Monday.
Police executed two search warrants, both on Deep Run Parkway, during which they seized a total of about 0.01 pounds of suspected crack cocaine that was packaged for distribution, 0.003 pounds of suspected heroin packaged for distribution, 0.01 pounds of marijuana, about $730, three digital scales and other drug paraphernalia, according to the release.
The suspects arrested were: Cubby Owens, 36; Lora Ann Leahey, 45; Mason Alexander Holland, 23; Nicholas Paul Holland, 25; and Michael Joseph Holland, 54.
All suspects were charged with drug and paraphernalia possession; Owens was also charged with drug possession with intent to distribute, according to police. No further information was immediately available about the suspects.
The investigation is ongoing.
