GEYSER IN CATONSVILLE | Water main break causes major problems
CATONSVILLE, Md. (WBFF) - A major water main break left a geyser of water spewing onto houses in the Paradise/Catonsville area of Baltimore County for hours on a frigid Tuesday.
The break was first reported at about 5:30 p.m. on Garden Ridge Road.
It was still sending tons of water onto houses after night fell.
The incident was one of at least three dozen water main breaks that crews struggled to fix in the Baltimore area, as temperatures stayed low.
The public works department wrote on Twitter just before 10:15 p.m. that the leak had been stopped.
