Glen Burnie boy dies, 2 others hurt, in Crownsville crash

CROWNSVILLE, Md. (WBFF) - A Glen Burnie teen died and two other teenagers were injured in a crash in Crownsville, Anne Arundel County, Thursday afternoon, reported Maryland State Police.

A 33-year-old Glen Burnie woman, Tashya Johnson, was driving a black 2004 Mercury Grand Marquis south on I-97 near Waterbury Road at about 1:45 p.m. when she lost control of the vehicle for unknown reasons.

The car was found on its roof on an embankment, said police.

Tyrese Glenn, 16, was pronounced dead at Anne Arundel Medical Center.

Two other victims, a 14-year-old girl and a 15-year-old boy, were taken to Anne Arundel Medical Center and Shock Trauma in Baltimore, respectively.

Charges are pending based on the outcome of the investigation.
