HOMICIDE #328: Man dies in SW Baltimore afternoon shooting
BALTIMORE (WBFF) - A man died after a shooting on southwest Baltimore's Pulaski Street/Wilkens Avenue area Tuesday afternoon, reported city police.
It brings Baltimore's homicide count to 328 for the year so far. The total for 2016 at this time was 299.
In southwest Baltimore, a 37-year-old man was found shot at about 2:23 p.m. in the area of South Pulaski and Wilkens Avenue.
The shooting is believed to have occurred on South Pulaski at Ramsay Street, said police.
The victim was taken to University of Maryland Shock Trauma and pronounced dead.

City police data did show homicides have gone down over the past 28 days, although non-fatal shootings were up, as compared to this time period last year.
