Man arrested in Southwest Baltimore found with handgun and narcotics

BALTIMORE, Md. (WBFF) On Thursday, Baltimore Police arrested 20 year-old Daquan Holbrook, who was in possession of a stolen handgun and narcotics during his arrest in Southwest Baltimore.

At approximately 12:15 p.m., officers were by Westwood Avenue conducting proactive enforcement when they encountered an individual whom they believed was involved in illegal narcotic activity.

Upon stopping that individual, he was found to be in possession of a loaded semi-automatic handgun and suspected crack cocaine.

The handgun had been reported stolen out of Baltimore County.

Officers arrested Holbrook and all of the seized property was submitted at the evidence control section.

Holbrook was transported to Central Booking.

Daquan Holbrook has been charged various handgun violations and possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance and is now waiting to see a court commissioner.
